There is no absolute "who is more useful" between Reiki and energy healing. The two have completely different function logic and adaptation scenarios. It is really useful to choose the one that suits your needs.
I have been doing physical and mental casework for almost 6 years. I have systematically learned both systems and have handled thousands of related cases. This is the question I am asked the most. I really can’t give you a black and white answer.
If you are tired at work, feel heavy on your shoulders and unable to lift your energy even though you are not doing any heavy work, and go to the hospital to check your indicators, which are all normal, and are a typical type of emotionally exhausted person, I would generally recommend you to try Usui Reiki first. Last month, a young girl who works as an e-commerce operator came to see me. She had been through the Double 11 sales for almost a month. She didn’t even have the energy to remove her makeup when she got home. Her eyelids felt heavy even when she was lying on the bed and scrolling through her phone. She did Reiki three times. When she came for the third time, she jumped up and told me that she had detoured two stops from get off work the day before to buy internet celebrity tiramisu. Before, she had never even thought about it. Moreover, the operation of Reiki has a fixed inheritance process. As long as the healer has undergone formal attunement training, there will basically be no deviation. Even if you are half-convinced about these things, you can usually feel the warmth in the corresponding position when doing it. The relaxation is real, and there is no threshold for acceptance.
But if you think Reiki is more reliable than energy healing because of this, that’s not right either. Many people don’t know that energy healing in the broad sense actually includes Reiki. However, what we now refer to as “energy healing” mostly refers to a type that does not have a fixed operating paradigm. The healer will adjust the treatment at any time according to the client’s current energy state. Some will combine crystals and singing bowls, and some can even operate remotely without physical contact. I previously had a client with severe childhood physical trauma. Her wrists trembled even when a stranger touched her. When I tried Reiki for the first time, as soon as I put my hand ten centimeters above her shoulders, she became so tense that she was sweating all over. Customized chakra energy healing, no contact required during the whole process. I adjusted the frequency according to her energy flow. After doing it twice, she told me that last week when the courier downstairs delivered the package, he touched her hand and she didn't subconsciously hide away. It would have been uncomfortable for a long time before.
It’s interesting to say that there are ongoing debates about these two types of therapies in the mind-body and soul circles. Those who keep the Reiki heritage believe that energy healing without a fixed process tests the level of the healer too much. If you encounter a half-baked person, it might mess up the client’s energy field even more.; Those who do customized energy healing also feel that the framework of Reiki is too rigid. When it comes to cases with particularly severe energy blockage or deep emotional trauma, following fixed procedures cannot get to the core issues at all, and the results are too slow. In fact, both sides are reasonable, but it is essentially a matter of adaptability.
By the way, no matter which one you choose, don’t treat it as a cure. I once met a girl who didn’t go to the hospital when she found breast nodules. She expected to do a few Reiki sessions to get rid of them. This is purely putting the cart before the horse. Whether it’s Reiki or energy healing, it can at most help you clear up emotional blockages and reduce the consumption of negative emotions on the body. If there is really an organic problem, go to the hospital to see a doctor as soon as possible. This is the bottom line.
If you really can't decide which one to choose, it's better to find a reliable therapist to experience each one and you will know. Your body's feelings cannot be deceived. If you don't resist when you do it and you feel relaxed and relaxed after doing it, then it will be the best for you.
